The Manifesto

We are reclaiming the timeline.

The history of computing is a history of abstraction. We abstracted the command line into the GUI. We abstracted the file system into the App Store. But in doing so, we handed over control of the cognitive architecture to entities whose sole purpose is extraction.

Our Tenets

• Time is the only non-renewable resource. An OS must treat it as sacred.
• The user must explicitly opt-in to interruption. Default state is silence.
• Hardware must enforce software boundaries. Physical switches cannot be bypassed by algorithms.
• Boredom is a feature, not a bug. It is the precursor to deep thought.
