Apps are isolated behavioral traps. We need a systemic interface.

The Silo Problem

In 2008, "There's an app for that" was a revolution in capability. Today, it is an architectural disaster. When you open a smartphone, you face a grid of 50 different companies, each running an isolated application designed to keep you inside their walls as long as possible.

Your calendar doesn't talk to your email seamlessly. Your notes don't understand your tasks. You exist as a manual router, ferrying data between walled gardens.

The Extraction Economy

The business model of a free app requires engagement. If an app helps you finish a task in 30 seconds and close it, the app loses money. The UI is inherently hostile to your time.

The CalendarOS Solution

CalendarOS has zero apps. It has capabilities (text, voice, notes, navigation) that only exist within the context of the timeline. You do not open an app; you enter a Time Block, and the OS provides the exact tools needed for that block, suppressing everything else.
